Description

Flaminal® Forte is indicated for moderately to heavily oozing wounds, such as :

– strongly oozing 2nd degree burns (deep, superficial)

– strongly oozing leg ulcers

– oozing pressure sores

– oozing oncological wounds

– preoperative preparation of the wound bed

Flaminal® Forte is a new class of healing agents called alginogel® enzyme, composed of an antibacterial enzyme system integrated in hydrated alginates. Flaminal ® Forte promotes wound healing through various actions:

1. Flaminal ® Forte keeps the wound clean.

2. Flaminal ® Forte keeps the wound moist.

3. Flaminal ® Forte offers antimicrobial protection.

4. Flaminal ® Forte is non-toxic to the skin and the injured tissue.

5. Flaminal ® Forte reduces the odour of the wound due to the presence of bacteria.

6. Flaminal ® Forte contributes to the reduction of excess protease activity (protease = protein destroying enzyme).

7. Flaminal ® Forte reduces the number of bacteria released by a biofilm.

8. Flaminal ® Forte protects the wound edges.

Alginate (total alginate content 5.5% [g/g]), macrogol, enzyme complex (glucose oxidase, lactoperoxidase, glucose, guaiacol), potassium sorbate, potassium iodide, buffer, purified water according to the Ph.Eur. codification.
