Infants from 1 to 4 weeks old
Usual dose: 1 drop 2-3 times a day in each nostril.
Maximum dose: 1 drop per dose and 3 drops per day in each nostril.
Infants from 5 to 52 weeks
Usual dose: 1 to 2 drops, 2 to 3 x per day in each nostril.
Max. dose: 2 drops 3 times a day in each nostril.
Children from 1 to 2 years old
Usual dose: 1 to 2 drops, 2 to 3 x per day in each nostril.
Max. dose: 2 drops 4 times a day in each nostril.
Mode of administration
Either instill the drop(s) in each nostril
Soak a cotton wool pad with 1 to 2 drops and use it to cleanse the nose.
1 ml of 0.01% solution contains 0.1 mg of oxymetazoline hydrochloride.
