Description

Althera is a dietary food for infants with an allergy to cow’s milk proteins. Hypoallergenic, highly hydrolysed formula. Purified lactose for a better taste. With HMO (2’FL and LNnT). Research shows (Vandenplas et al. 2019) that infants given AlthéraHMO (compared with Althéra without HMO) suffered fewer infections of the lungs, ears and gastrointestinal tract and, as a result, needed to use antibiotics and antipyretics less often. Infants and children allergic to cow’s milk proteins who are fed AltheraHMO formula have an intestinal microbiome closer to that of breastfed infants[1].

Nutrition for medical use from birth. Complete nutrition. Suitable for use as the sole source of nutrition from birth.
