The Omega-3 capsules consist of natural fish oil – not a concentrate – with a fatty acid complex of over 50 fatty acids. The extraction and purification of our fish oil is gentle and preserves the natural fatty acid structure of the fish. The difference between a natural fish oil and a concentrate is that in concentrates, the natural fatty acid structure of the fish oil is altered by various chemical processes in order to concentrate the omega-3 fatty acids artificially higher. At present, little is known about how the (processed) concentrated fish oil behaves after consumption in the body. Taking a non concentrated natural fish oil, as contained in omega-3 capsules, is similar to the effect of fish consumption and is therefore recommended.
