Description

Mode of Action and Use:

• ZOVIRAX cold sore cream contains 5% aciclovir, an active ingredient specially designed for the treatment of cold sores.
• It acts from the first tingling and during the blister phase, fighting virus multiplication and reducing the duration of pain and healing.
• Aciclovir becomes active in cells infected with herpes and stops viral multiplication there.
• The cream is easy to apply and quickly absorbed. It becomes colorless within 40 seconds after application.
• For treatment, it is recommended to apply the cream thinly 5 times a day on the affected areas and adjacent areas, for a period of 4 days.

• There are no age restrictions for the use of ZOVIRAX cold sore cream.

Important Advice:

• It is recommended to wash hands thoroughly before and after application.
• Treatment should begin at the first signs of herpes (tingling, burning).
• If the blisters are not crusted or healed within 10 days at the latest, it is advisable to consult a doctor.
• ZOVIRAX cold sore cream is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of pain and itching as well as to accelerate crust formation in the natural healing process of acute episodes of recurrent labial herpes.
• Warning: Contains cetearyl alcohol, propylene glycol, and sodium lauryl sulfate.
