Description
Otrivine Sine Convervans Decongestant nasal spray 0.5mg/ml effectively unblocks your child’s nose within 2 minutes and for up to 10 hours. The nasal spray, specially adapted for children aged 2 and over, contains xylometazoline hydrochloride.
Otrivine Sine Conservans 0.5mg/ml nasal spray, suitable for children aged 2 and over, contains xylometazoline hydrochloride. It provides rapid decongestion by locally contracting the blood vessels in the nasal mucosa, reducing swelling and opening up the airways. It also facilitates drainage of the openings connecting the sinuses to the nasal cavities to ensure they remain open.
Indications
- non-allergic rhinitis (head colds)
- seasonal and non-seasonal allergic rhinitis
- sinusitis (facilitates elimination of secretions)
- otitis media (as an adjuvant to nasopharyngeal decongestion)
Otrivine Sine Conservans nasal spray should be administered as follows:
– Children aged 2 to 6 years: Under parental supervision. 1 spray in each nostril, 1 to 3 times a day. The interval between 2 sprays should be 8 to 10 hours.
– Children aged 6 to 12: Under parental supervision.
1 to 2 sprays in each nostril, 2 to 3 times a day. The interval between 2 sprays should be 8 to 10 hours.
No more than 3 administrations per nostril per day.
Detailed instructions:
In children aged 2 to 12 years:
1. Clean your child’s nose.
2. Before using for the first time, pump a few times until an even spray is obtained.
3. Hold the bottle upright, tilt your child’s head slightly forward and insert the nozzle into one nostril.
4. Spray while asking your child to breathe in gently through the nose. Repeat in the other nostril.
5. Clean the nozzle and leave to dry before replacing the protective cap.
Otrivine Sine Conservans Decongestant should not be used for more than 3 to 5 days. It is advisable to consult a doctor if the condition for which you are using Otrivine Sine Conservans Decongestant does not improve markedly after 5 days of treatment or if new symptoms appear. To avoid possible transmission of infection, the bottle may be used by 1 person only.
