NUROFEN CHILDREN SUGAR-FREE RED 2%, Oral Suspension – 150 ml

NUROFEN for Children Sugar-Free Red 2% is a sugar-free oral suspension specially formulated for children to alleviate pain and fever. This suspension is dosed at 100 mg of ibuprofen per 5 ml and comes in a 150 ml bottle with a pleasant red fruit flavor, making medication intake more enjoyable for children.

Indications:

• Suitable for children from 3 months/6 kg.
• Effectively relieves pain, including headaches, dental pain, and mild to moderate pains.
• Reduces fever.

Dosage Instructions:

• Do not use for more than 24 hours for babies aged 3 to 5 months or more than 3 days for children over 6 months without medical advice.
• The optimal dosage for Nurofen for Children is 0.50 ml per kilo of body weight, to be taken 3 times a day, unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor. Each pack of Nurofen for Children contains a graduated syringe, calibrated in 0.5 ml per kg. Simply draw up the suspension to your child’s body weight to find out the desired dose per dose. If necessary, repeat this dose every 6 to 8 hours, with a maximum of 3 doses per day.
• For older children, you can also use a spoon:
  – 14-15 kg/2-3 years = 5 ml or 1 teaspoon/4 times a day
  – 16-20 kg/4-6 years = 7.5 ml or 1.5 teaspoons/3 times a day
  – 21-28 kg/7-9 years = 10 ml of 2 teaspoons/3 times a day
  – 29-40 kg/10-12 years = 15 ml of 3 teaspoons/3 times a day
• You should contact your doctor if your child feels less well, or if there is no improvement.
  – after 24 hours for children aged 3 to 5 months.
  – after 3 days for children over 6 months.
