NUROFEN FOR CHILDREN 200 mg – Coated Tablets

NUROFEN for Children 200 mg coated tablets are specially formulated for children starting from the age of 6 years and weighing 20 kg. These tablets contain ibuprofen, an active ingredient known for its effectiveness in relieving pain and reducing fever.

Indications:

• Suitable for children from 6 years/20 kg.
• Provides relief from various types of pain such as headaches, dental pain, and minor aches.
• Also effective in reducing fever.

Usage Instructions:

• Do not use for more than 3 days without medical advice.
• The usual dosage is :
  – Children aged 6 to 9 years (20 – 30 kg): 1 tablet (200 mg)
  If necessary, 1 tablet every 6 hours, up to a maximum of 1 tablet per dose and 3 tablets per day (600 mg).
  – Children aged 10-12 years (30-40 kg): 1 tablet (200 mg).
  If necessary, 1 tablet every 4 to 6 hours, up to a maximum of 1 tablet per dose and 4 tablets per day (800 mg).
  – Children aged 12 and over (+ 40 kg) and adults: 1 to 2 tablets (200 mg – 400 mg)
  If necessary, 1 to 2 coated tablets every 4 to 6 hours, with a maximum of 2 tablets per dose and 6 tablets per day (1200 mg).
• When taking the maximum dose, wait at least 4 hours before taking the next dose.
• Swallow the coated tablets without chewing with sufficient water (e.g. half a glass of water).

Precautions:

• Keep out of reach and sight of children.
• Do not use during pregnancy, or in case of gastric or duodenal ulcer, or if there is a known allergy to acetylsalicylic acid or other anti-inflammatory drugs.
