Description
INDICATIONS
Treatment of mixed infections caused by nematodes and cestodes belonging to the following species.
Nematodes :
Ascarids (adult and late immature forms) : Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina
Hookworms (adults) : Uncinaria stenocephala, Ancylostoma caninum
Whipworms (adults) : Trichuris vulpis
Cestodes (adult and late immature forms) :
Echinococcus granulosus
Echinococcus multilocularis
Dipylidium caninum
Taenia spp.
Mesocestoides spp.
Helps control infections caused by the protozoan Giardia spp. in puppies and adult dogs.
METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION
For the treatment of dogs, 1 tablet per 10 kg bodyweight (15 mg febantel, 14.4 mg pyrantel embonate and 5 mg praziquantel/kg bodyweight).
For each additional 5 kg of body weight, administer a further half-tablet.

SIDE EFFECTS
In very rare cases, mild and transient digestive disorders such as vomiting and/or diarrhoea may occur. In some cases, these signs may be accompanied by aspecific symptoms such as lethargy, anorexia or hyperactivity. The frequency of adverse reactions is defined as follows: – very rare (less than one in 10,000 animals treated, including isolated cases).
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Do not use in the event of hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any of the excipients.
Do not use during the first and second thirds of gestation.
COMPOSITION
Active ingredients :
150 mg febantel
50 mg pyrantel, equivalent to 144 mg pyrantel embonate
50 mg praziquantel
