Description
• ATRONASE contains ipratropium bromide, an anticholinergic substance that reduces nasal secretion.
• Intranasal administration has a local muscarinic parasympathetic antagonistic effect, reducing serous hypersecretion of the nasal mucous glands with no significant negative effects on the sense of smell or air conditioning capacity of the nose.
• Indicated for symptom relief of rhinorrhea in allergic and non-allergic rhinitis in adults, adolescents and children aged 6+.
• Adults: 2 sprays in each nostril, repeated 2 to 3 times a day; Adolescents 12+: 2 sprays in each nostril, repeat 2 to 3 times daily; Children 6-12: 2 sprays in each nostril, repeat twice daily; Do not give to those under 6 years old.
