Description

Mepilex ® Border Lite is a thin all-in-one foam dressing for low exuding wounds. You can use it for chronic wounds and acute healing wounds such as traumatic wounds.

The thin profile makes the dressing very adaptable, making it particularly suitable for areas such as the foot that are difficult to dress. Your patients can wear the dressing while showering.

Dressings with Safetac® have been proven to cause less damage to the wound and skin when changing dressings. Dressings with Safetac® help prevent maceration by sealing the edges of the wound 6 . Less damage to the wound and skin means less pain during dressing changes.

Applications of Mepilex Border Lite

Mepilex Border Lite is a thin, self-adhesive foam dressing. It is suitable for a wide range of low exuding and superficial wounds, including chronic wounds such as diabetic foot ulcers and decubitus, and acute secondary healing wounds such as post-operative incisions or traumatic wounds (including suture wounds).

This soft, adaptable foam dressing allows a moist wound environment to be maintained. This creates an optimal healing environment for your patient’s wound.
