Take 2 capsules daily with a large glass of water, 30 minutes before the 3 main meals.

• Do not take more than nine (9) capsules a day.
• This product is not a meal replacement.
• If you are using XL-S Medical SPECIALIST Appetite Reducer, we recommend that you drink enough water (at least 2 litres) during the day.
• You can safely continue to use XL-S Medical SPECIALIST Appetite Reducer after you have reached your target weight, for example if you experience increased food cravings or appetite, to prevent further weight gain.

Precautions for use:

Only recommended for adults aged 18 and over. The use of this product in adolescents aged between 12 and 18 should be subject to the supervision of a doctor, dietician or pharmacist.

Do not take XL-S Medical SPECIALIST Appetite Reducer if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if your BMI (Body Mass Index) is less than 18.5. It is recommended that you calculate your BMI before and during use.

XL-S Medical SPECIALIST Appetite Reducer capsules should be taken whole with a large glass of water (approximately 250 ml). Do not open the capsule and avoid taking the product in powder form to avoid choking.

To ensure that the action of the fibre is beneficial to intestinal transit, it is recommended that you drink at least 2 litres of water a day. Mild constipation may occur if insufficient fluid is taken in. If any of these symptoms persist, please contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking XL-S Medical SPECIALIST Appetite Reducer if you:

• are diabetic, as XL-S Medical SPECIALIST Appetite Reducer may reduce your plasma glucose levels and therefore reduce insulin secretion. Diabetic patients may need to adjust their daily anti-diabetic treatment to avoid hypoglycaemic attacks.
• are taking cholesterol-lowering medication.
• are taking angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors, angiotensin receptor blockers (ARBs) or potassium-sparing diuretics.
• have kidney problems, as this product contains a source of potassium.
• are on an iodine-restricted diet, as this product contains a very small amount of iodine.
• suffer from a health problem.

It is recommended that you take any medication at least 1 hour before or 4 hours after taking XL-S Medical SPECIALIST Appetite Reducer. Adjust the dose as recommended by your doctor or pharmacist.

The incidence of reported adverse reactions was very low (≤ 0.01%). These hypersensitivity reactions were characteristic of food allergies: for example, skin rash, pruritus, mild swelling and moderate gastrointestinal disturbances. In such cases, treatment should be discontinued.

Do not take this product if you are allergic to sulphide or any other listed ingredients. If you experience allergic symptoms, such as skin rash, breathing difficulties or any other adverse reaction, please consult your doctor immediately.
