The combination of high-dose UVA, UVB and broad-spectrum sun filters guarantees very high protection against UV radiation. This non-greasy emulsion, free from mineral oils, is quickly absorbed. Extra Sun Protection 50 protects, cares for and moisturises the skin.

Vitamin E protects against the damaging effects of free radicals. It reduces the risk of premature skin ageing. It helps the skin to regenerate.

Panthenol soothes irritated skin and boosts water retention in the epidermis.

Ectoin is a cyclic derivative of low molecular weight amino acids. Ectoin protects against photo-induced skin ageing. It prevents sunburn and maintains and increases skin hydration, even in extreme conditions.

Extra Sun Protection 50 is water and sweat resistant. It contains no fragrance or colourants.

We recommend Extra Sun Protection 50

• in cases of sun intolerance
• when using phototoxic or sun-sensitising medications
• to protect the skin after laser treatments or exfoliations
• to protect certain parts of the skin (nose, ears, lips)
• to protect scars
• for prophylaxis against freckles or senile hyperpigmentation
• during extreme sun exposure, e.g. when practising sport (high mountains, sea)
• for children with sensitive or very sensitive skin

Apply Extra Sun Protection 50 to the skin approximately 30 minutes before exposure to the sun. Repeat application is recommended after prolonged exposure to water or sand. However, it is important to note that the maximum duration of sun exposure, which depends on skin type, cannot be extended by reapplying the sun protection product. Do not apply around the eyes!

After sunbathing, we recommend using Louis Widmer's soothing and moisturising After Sun Lotion.
