VICKS VAPORUB POMMADE 100 G

Cutaneous application

• Apply the equivalent of 1 to 2 teaspoons 2 to 3 times a day.
• Apply the equivalent of 1 teaspoon 2 to 3 times a day
• Spread over the chest and/or back
• Rub in for 3 to 5 minutes, then cover with a cloth
• Do not use on damaged skin, lesions or mucous membranes

Inhalation

• Pour a teaspoonful of ointment into a bowl of very hot (not boiling) water or into an inhaler.
• Inhale the vapours through the nose and mouth
• Never apply direct heat to the preparation
• Never reheat (risk of splashes when reheated) or heat the mixture in a microwave oven.

Vicks VapoRub is an ointment for inhalation or rubbing. Use the ointment to relieve the symptoms of colds, blocked noses and coughs caused by colds. If your symptoms get worse or persist after 5 days, consult your doctor. Consult your doctor.

Never use Vicks VapoRub

• If you are allergic to the active substances or to any of the other components of this medicine
• In children under 3 years of age.
• By inhalation in children under 12 years of age.
• If you suffer from spasms.
• If you suffer from epilepsy.
• If you suffer from acute hypersensitivity of the respiratory tract.
• If you suffer from asthma.
• On damaged or lesioned skin, mucous membranes, nose or face.

What Vicks VapoRub contains

The active ingredients are, per teaspoon (6g): 300mg camphor, 300mg turpentine essential oil, 165mg menthol, 90mg eucalyptus essential oil, 15mg thymol.

The other ingredients are cedarwood essential oil and white petroleum jelly.
