Properties:

Propolis is an ideal product for all ear, nose and throat conditions. Propolis is known for its anti-inflammatory properties, thanks to the presence of ferulic acid, galangin and pinocembrin, and for its healing and soothing properties (3 to 4 times stronger than cocaine). Propolis increases general immunity and stimulates phagocytosis and antibody formation. Propolis is particularly indicated in cases of sinusitis and viral and bacterial infections.

Plantago lanceolata (Plantain) is an important therapeutic ingredient. The thick juice of fresh leaves is used for wounds that are difficult to heal, bee stings, mosquito and snake bites, eye infections and ear infections. Its antibacterial power is due to the presence of aucuboside, a glucoside which is hydrolysed by the enzyme beta-glucosidase into aucubigenin, a dialdehyde with a strong bacteriostatic action.

Verbascum thapsus (White Broth) contains a lot of mucilage with soothing, relaxing and secretory properties. White broth liquefies mucus and is ideal for coughs and chronic bronchitis, asthma (acute and chronic), intestinal inflammation and cystitis. The most commonly used form is as a topical ear oil, thanks to its soothing, anti-inflammatory and mucosa-softening properties. The oil can also be applied to lesions, bruises, rheumatoid arthralgia, cracks, haemorrhoids, swollen glands, mouth and eye infections.

Calendula (Marigold) is an excellent and effective phytotherapeutic product, thanks to its mild healing and largely anti-inflammatory properties, and is ideal for chronic inflammatory conditions. Marigold is also used for a wide range of external applications: compresses, mouthwash, gargles, sitz baths, ointments, vaginal rinses, ear drops, etc. Marigold is recommended for external use in the case of wounds, bruises, warts, haemorrhoids, insect bites, acne, ulcers, pruritus, eczema, herpes, dermatitis and vaginal mycosis.
