Similase Lipid is designed to optimise the function of the galblaas and the vertering of vetten.Het product bevat 4 groepen van ingrediënten: plantenextracten, een vetemulgator, een enzymenengsel en 2 andere verbindingen: L-glycine en betaïne HCl. De eerste groep ingrediënten is een plantenmengels bestaande uit artisjok-, rode biet-, paardenbloem- en radijsextract. Deze planten zijn allemaal gekend (bv. Duitse Lijst 'Commission E monographs') omwille van hun werking op de galwerking en de leverfunctie, vaak ook gecombineerd met een antioxidant- functie. Artisjok (Cynara scolymus) is the heart and soul of this plant material, and is a traditional element in leavening formulas. Cynarine is the active best-selling ingredient of artisjok, and bladders often use the best cynarine. Cynarine is a staple that affects both production and the flow of gal. The extra plants in the mix have a cholagoog and choleretisch effect. The second function of the product is to help the crop to grow. This is a function that is normally carried out by the galverbindingen. Sojalecithin is a voedingsemulgator bestaande uit een mengsel van componenten. Sojalecithin helps to prevent cholesterol and other vectors from being emulsified in the lichaamsvloeistoffen. The last part is produced via the reversible enzyme lipase. It is processed by the pancreas and is used to reduce fat and triglyceride levels. This product is not even a breedspectrum enzyme preparation, but is mainly based on the lipid component. Ten slotte bevat Similase Lipid ook nog 2 andere verbindingen: L-glycine en betaïne HCl. L-glycine: dit zal detoxificatiereacties via de lever gaan ondersteunen. L-glycine is an amino acid which is important in phase II of detoxification reactions. Verder bevat Similase Lipid ook betaine HCl, ter ondersteuning van de zure pH van de maag, wat belangrijk is in de eerste fases van het verteringsproces (pepsinewerking, vrijzetting galzouten).
