Details of precautions to be taken during maintenance by the user :
- Always check that you are handling the diffuser correctly.
- Children must be supervised and must not play with the appliance.
- This appliance is for domestic use only.
- This appliance may be used by children of at least 8 years of age and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lacking experience and knowledge, if they are properly supervised or if they have been given instructions on how to use the appliance safely and if the risks involved have been understood.
- Children must not play with the appliance.
- Cleaning and maintenance by the user must not be carried out by unsupervised children.
- The appliance may only be used with the recommended diffusing agents. The use of other substances may result in a toxic or fire hazard.
- This appliance has hot surfaces for the evaporation of active substances, which should not be touched during use.
- Keep away from pets.
- Do not touch the diffuser with wet hands.
- Do not use the diffuser in a damp atmosphere.
- Do not use the diffuser near an open flame.
- Do not expose the diffuser to high temperatures.
- Do not leave the diffuser permanently plugged in.
- The diffuser switches off automatically after 8 hours, but it is not advisable to leave it in the socket if it is not to be used for a long time.
- Make sure you leave enough space (40 cm) between the plug and any other object when the diffuser is operating.
- Do not cover the diffuser.
- Stop and unplug the diffuser before pouring in the essential oil or diffusion blend.
- Do not overfill with essential oil. Observe the maximum fill level (5 ml), using the mark on the metal container as a guide. If there is too much, empty the excess and immediately wipe off any plastic parts that may have come into contact with the essential oil with a soft cloth.
- Do not use the diffuser if it malfunctions, or if it has been dropped or damaged.
- If the diffuser emits an abnormal or 'burnt' odour or shows any other significant signs of malfunction, unplug it from the electrical socket immediately. Wait for the 'burning' smell to dissipate, then contact your dealer.
- Do not dismantle or attempt to repair the diffuser in the event of a malfunction, as this will invalidate the warranty.
- Only factory technicians are authorised to dismantle or repair it (see contractual guarantee).
- Never bring the diffuser into contact with water or immerse it in any liquid.
- Do not drip essential oils onto the diffuser.
- Keep the essential oil leaflet and read it before use.
- Observe the precautions for using essential oils.
