Smoking dependence

• Treatment of smoking by relieving nicotine withdrawal symptoms, including cravings, when trying to stop smoking. The ultimate goal is to stop smoking altogether
• NiQuitin Mint 2 mg is indicated for smokers who light up their first cigarette more than 30 minutes after waking up

Adults

• Stage 1 (weeks 1 to 6): 1 tablet every 1 to 2 hours; minimum 9 tablets to maximum 15 tablets per day
• Stage 2 (weeks 7 to 9): 1 tablet every 2 to 4 hours
• Stage 3 (weeks 10 to 12): 1 tablet every 4 to 8 hours
• After 12 weeks: 1 to 2 tablets a day only if you are strongly tempted to smoke
• Do not use for more than 9 months without medical advice

Children aged 12 to 17

• Same treatment schedule as for adults
• Do not use for more than 12 weeks

Method of administration

• The tablet should be placed in the mouth to dissolve
• Move the tablet regularly from one side of the mouth to the other until completely dissolved (approximately 20 to 30 minutes)
• Do not chew or swallow the tablet whole
• Do not eat or drink while the tablet is in your mouth
