Adults

• Recommended regimen of 8 to 12 weeks
• Transdermal devices should not be used for more than 3 months
• Adjustment of the dose is indicated in the case of coronary artery disease

Method of administration

• The transdermal device should be applied to clean, dry, hairless skin on the upper body or outer arm. The layer protecting the adhesive must be removed before application.
• The transdermal device (plaster, patch) should be changed every 24 hours and the new system applied to a different area.
• During this treatment, the patient will not be able to take nicotine in any other form
