• It is therefore advisable to adopt the basic rules for your comfort and health now:
• Protect rooms and beds with a mosquito net impregnated with insecticide.
• In the grass, walk with shoes on.
• Wear long, loose-fitting, light-coloured clothes without any pattern.
• Do not perfume yourself
• Apply your sunscreen before the repellent (DEET tends to reduce the effectiveness of sunscreen, so choose a sunscreen with a higher UV index than the one usually used).
