Molaxole Sachets 20 X 13,8g

Molaxole® is a treatment for constipation based on the active substance macrogol 3350.

This binds to water and increases stool volume, which normalises bowel movements. Molaxole® also contains various mineral salts which help to maintain the body's normal electrolyte and water balance.

• Chronic constipation
• Fecal impaction (persistent constipation with accumulation of faeces in the rectum and/or colon)

Adults and children aged 12 and over

• Constipation
  • 1 to 3 sachets per day, in divided doses
  • Prolonged use: 1 or 2 sachets a day
  • Fecal impaction
  • 8 sachets a day, to be taken within 6 hours of each other
  • Duration of treatment: normally no more than 3 days
  • In cases of cardiovascular insufficiency, maximum 2 sachets per hour

Method of administration

• Constipation: dissolve the contents of each sachet in 125 ml of water
• Faecal impaction: dissolve the contents of 8 sachets in 1 litre of water
