The Mepilex® Lite foam dressing has been specially developed for the treatment of low exuding acute and chronic wounds. The thin foam dressing is soft and conformable so that it can be easily applied to areas of the body that are difficult to dress. It can also be easily cut to the desired size.

It has Safetac® - the original contact layer with silicone adhesion, which minimises pain when changing the dressing. The dressing lies gently on the skin without sticking to the moist wound - so you can easily remove it without damaging the skin. This makes dressing changes less painful for your patients. The edges of the wound are also sealed to protect the skin from damaging leaks and maceration. Mepilex Lite has been clinically proven to minimise skin reactions caused by radiation treatment.

Applications of Mepilex Lite

Mepilex Lite is suitable for a variety of low exuding acute and chronic wounds including diabetic foot syndrome, decubitus, second degree burns and epidermolysis bullosa.

Mepilex Lite can be easily tailored to the size of a particular wound as the soft foam is highly conformable. This makes it ideal for difficult to dress wound areas such as underarms or under the chest.
