LEVOCETIRIZINE EG 5 MG 20 CPR

Levocetirizine EG is an anti-allergic. It is used to treat symptoms associated with allergic conditions such as chronic urticaria.

Contraindications:

Never take Levocetirizine EG:

• if you are allergic to levocetirizine, any other related substance or any of the other components contained in this medicine.
• if you suffer from severe renal insufficiency (creatinine clearance of less than 10 ml/min)
• if your doctor has informed you of an intolerance to certain sugars, contact him/her before taking this medicine.

Adults and children aged 6 and over:

The recommended daily dose is 5 mg (one film-coated tablet) once daily.

Method of administration:

Swallow the film-coated tablet whole with a drink.
With or without food.
The active substance is levocetirizine (in the form of hydrochloride). Each tablet contains 5 mg of levocetirizine dihydrochloride, equivalent to 4.2 mg of levocetirizine.
The other components are: microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate (core) and hypromellose (E464), titanium dioxide (E171) and macrogol 400 (coating).
