Lactulose Eg Sirop 300ml

Lactulose EG is a laxative. Lactulose is recommended in the event of bowel movements that are too hard or too limited, or in the event of complete failure to defecate.

Contraindications:

Never take Lactulose EG:

• if you are allergic to lactulose or to any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
• if you are following a galactose-free or lactose-free diet, due to the presence of these sugars in the composition of Lactulose EG.
• in the event of abdominal pain of unknown origin and intestinal obstruction.

Starter dose for 3 days

• Adults
  • stubborn cases: 30 to 45 ml per day
  • less serious cases: 15 to 30 ml per day
  • mild cases: 15 ml per day
  • Children aged 6 to 14: 15 ml per day
  • Young children: 5 to 10 ml per day
  • Infants: 5 ml per day

Maintenance treatment

• Adults

Method of administration

• The daily dose should be taken as a single dose, preferably at breakfast

• The active substance is lactulose, at a dose of 10 g per sachet.
• Other sugars may be present in small quantities, including lactose, epilactose, galactose, tagatose and fructose.
