Iso-Betadine® contains povidone-iodine or PVP-I. It is also called a 'broad-spectrum antiseptic' because it kills all microbes (bacteria, fungi, viruses).

Dermatology

• Microbial dermatitis: furunculosis, folliculitis, impetigo, papulopustular acne, etc
• Mycotic dermatitis: pityriasis versicolor, erythrasma, perimenital intertrigo, herpes circinis, athlete's foot, onychomycosis, etc
• Pressure sores, leg ulcers

Surgery

• Wound disinfection and disinfection of the operating field
• Peritoneal lavage, bladder instillation
• Skin preparation prior to injection, venipuncture or transfusion
• Treatment of burns

• Dabbing and touching: once or several times a day
• Use the solution undiluted or diluted by half or a quarter with water
