Native to Malaysia, this small tree, 10 to 12 metres tall, has a crown with drooping branches. The oval, evergreen leaves are opposite. Numerous small flowers are borne in straw-yellow, then red, panicles. It has the ability to parasitise other plants by anchoring suckers.

To make a balancing, harmonious and sensual massage oil, mix 3 drops of HECT Yellow Sandalwood + 1 drop of HECT Neroli + 1 drop of HECT Grapefruit (zest). massage 15 drops of this synergy into the back, starting from the lower back and working up towards the nape of the neck, working on the paravertebral areas (on either side of the spine).
