GENGIGEL 20 ML

Gengigel is a medical device containing high molecular weight hyaluronic acid (in the form of sodium hyaluronate), obtained by a biotechnological process guaranteeing a high level of purity.

Its formulation is specially designed to resemble the physiological hyaluronic acid present in normal gingival mucosa.

• inflammatory conditions (gingivitis, bleeding, gingival recession, gingival pockets)
• traumatic conditions (in particular mouth ulcers, wounds caused by removable prostheses or orthodontic appliances, or by cleaning, abrasion, dental extractions, post-surgical sequelae)
• conditions where the gingival mucosa requires an increase in hyaluronic acid concentrations

Instructions for use:

After correct oral hygiene, apply three to five times a day (after main meals) for 3-4 weeks, until symptoms completely disappear.

• Gel:

apply a film of gel to the gum tissue, massaging gently with the fingers to facilitate correct distribution over the mucosal surface.

• Spray:

each spray ensures even, constant distribution of the liquid over the oral surface. 1 to 2 sprays on inflamed or traumatised tissue. Keep the bottle upright.

Warnings:

proven individual hypersensitivity to the components of the formulation. If symptoms persist, consult your dentist.

Store at a temperature of (5°C - 40°C).

Hyaluronic acid: 0.2

• Gengigel is an innovative product that has a prolonged action on tissue fluid balance and accelerates the healing and repair of the desmodontium (alveolodental ligament), by preventing natural hyaluronic acid deficiency and reinforcing its effects. It is not adsorbed by the mucosa, and does not induce any deleterious local or systemic pharmacological effects. Hyaluronic acid is extensively depolymerised and reduced to its basic sub-units under the enzymatic action of bacterial plaque.
• Gengigel, through maximum adhesion, allows the hyaluronic acid (which would otherwise be eliminated by permanent salivary drainage) to be maintained in situ.
• Gengigel is extremely safe, with no contraindications or side effects, and can be used without restriction, even by children, pregnant women or the elderly. Its safety makes it particularly useful when anti-inflammatory drugs are contraindicated. Thanks to the properties of Xylitol, a natural sweetener that is non-cariogenic and does not induce significant variations in blood sugar levels, the product is also suitable for diabetics. It has no drug interactions, so it can also be safely used during specific therapies, such as antibiotics.
