Herpes simplex

Adults and adolescents > 12 years

• Apply a thin layer carefully to the fever blister 5 times a day (approximately every 3 hours until bedtime)
• Treatment should be started as soon as possible after the appearance of the first symptoms (pain, burning/itching/tingling or redness)
• Treatment should be continued until recovery, generally after 4 to a maximum of 10 days
