DAFALGAN 500 MG 20 CPR

Pharmacotherapeutic group

This medicine is an analgesic (it soothes pain) and an antipyretic (it reduces fever).

It is reserved for adults and adolescents over the age of 11.

Therapeutic indications

DAFALGAN 500mg is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of pain and fever.

Adults and children > 11 years

• 1 to max. 2 tablets per dose
• Min. 4 h. between 2 doses
• Max. dose
  • 8 tablets per day for up to 4 weeks
  • 6 tablets per day > 4 weeks

Method of administration

What DAFALGAN 500 mg contains

The active substance is paracetamol. Each tablet contains 500 mg paracetamol.

The other components are :

For tablets :

Hypromellose, povidone, croscarmellose sodium, microcrystalline cellulose, glyceryl behenate, magnesium stearate.

For effervescent tablets:

Citric acid anhydrous, sodium carbonate anhydrous, sodium bicarbonate, sorbitol (E420), saccharin sodium, docusate sodium, povidone, sodium benzoate.
