Gum and periodontal problems
- Brush your teeth twice a day for 2 weeks with 2.5 cm of gel on the brush, for at least 1 minute, or as advised by your doctor or dentist
Treatment of mouth ulcers
- 2.5 cm of gel should be applied to the mucous membranes using the index finger, twice a day
Prevention of dental caries
- The dentist will make a preformed tray to fit the teeth. 2.5 cm of gel will be placed in the tray and applied daily to the teeth, preferably in the evening, and held in place for 5 minutes. The treatment will continue for 2 weeks and may be repeated after 3 or 4 months
- At the same time, other preventive measures should be taken, such as reducing sugar intake and brushing teeth twice a day with a fluoride-containing toothpaste. The professional application of fluoride and the closing of gaps can also prove useful as part of this prevention
Treatment of Candida stomatitis under dentures
- Approximately 2 cm of gel is applied to the underside of the complete denture, which is held in the mouth for 10 minutes before being removed and rinsed. Before reinserting the prosthesis, the mouth is also rinsed with water
Contains 1% w/w (= 10 mg/g) chlorhexidine digluconate as active substance.
