Cleen Enema Pediatric 5g/12g Sol Rectale Fl 66ml

• Symptomatic treatment of constipation originating in the sigmoid colon and/or rectum.
• Preparation for endoscopic examinations of the rectum and surgery.

Children (2 to 12 years)

• 1 whole vial, max. 1 time per day.

Method of administration

• Lie on the patient's left side, with both knees bent and arms at rest. Young children can lie on their backs; by raising the legs upwards, the buttocks can be positioned correctly for insertion. Spread the buttocks slightly.
• Remove the green protective cap.
• Carefully insert the lubricated rectal cannula into the rectum, maintaining constant pressure, in the direction of the navel. Do this very gently to avoid irritation or injury; take particular care with the elderly and people with rectal problems (haemorrhoids, etc.).
• Squeeze the bottle until almost all the liquid has been expelled.
• Stop when the patient feels resistance. Forced use may cause local injury.
• Leave the patient in this position until they feel the need to have a bowel movement, generally after 2 to 5 minutes.
