Cleen Enema 11g/24g Sol Rectale Fl 133ml

• Symptomatic treatment of constipation originating in the sigmoid colon and/or rectum.
• Preparation for endoscopic examinations of the rectum and surgery.
• Preparation for childbirth, for intestinal emptying in cases of persistent constipation, when the usual laxatives are not sufficient.

Adults

• 1 whole bottle, max. 1 time a day.

Method of administration

• Lie on the patient's left side, with both knees bent and arms at rest.
• Remove the protective cap.
• Introduce the rectal cannula into the rectum, very gently to avoid any irritation or injury and maintaining constant pressure, in the direction of the navel (take care with the elderly and people with rectal problems (haemorrhoids, etc).
• Squeeze the bottle until almost all the liquid has been expelled.
• Stop when the patient feels resistance. Forced use may cause local injury.
• Leave the patient in this position until they feel the need to have a bowel movement, generally after 2 to 5 minutes.
