Cavilon Film Cutanée Non-irritant is a polymeric solution that forms a uniform film on the skin, dissolved in a new type of solvent that is non-cytotoxic, non-irritant and quick-drying. This acrylate/silicone film is hydrophobic, colourless, transparent and has excellent oxygen/vapour permeability (MVTR). The product is suitable for application to intact or damaged skin; it forms a protective layer between the skin and adhesives, body fluids, faeces and urine. The film protects against frictional forces and repetitive tapping. Cavilon Film Cutanée Non-irritant is hypoallergenic, non-irritant and non-cytotoxic.
