Usage

• Indication: Treatment of inflammation of the vaginal mucosa (vaginitis), mainly caused by fungi (Candida) and certain other infections.
• Symptoms of a vaginal fungal infection: Itching, burning, red and painful swelling of the labia minora, lumpy and odorless white discharge.
• Other Uses: Can be used in conjunction with Canestene Gyn vaginal cream for treating inflammations of the external genital organs in women and men.

Administration

• Instructions for Use: Insert the tablet as deeply as possible into the vagina, preferably in the evening before going to bed, while lying on your back with legs slightly raised and spread.
• Recommended Dose: 1 application for 1 day.
• Target Audience: Adults and children from 12 years of age.

Precautions

• Medical Consultation: Advised before use, especially if you are experiencing these symptoms for the first time.
• Contraindications:
  • More than three vaginal fungal infections in the past year.
  • History of sexually transmitted infections.
  • Pregnancy or suspected pregnancy.
  • Under 16 years of age.
  • Symptoms such as fever, lower abdominal pain, back pain, malodorous vaginal discharge, nausea, vaginal bleeding, or shoulder pain.

Composition

• Active Ingredient: Clotrimazole 500 mg/tablet of 1.5 g.
• Other Components: Lactose, microcrystalline cellulose, lactic acid, corn starch, crospovidone, calcium lactate, magnesium stearate, colloidal silicon dioxide, hypromellose.
