1) Insert the grey end of the CONTOUR® NEXT test strip. The CONTOUR® NEXT meter will start automatically.

2) Place the lancing device firmly against the puncture site and press the blue button with your thumb.

3)Place the end of the strip in contact with the drop of blood. The blood is drawn up by the strip.

4)Use the meal marker or notes you wish to add to your blood glucose result.

5)After 5 seconds, your blood glucose result will appear on the screen, along with the meal marker and your notes.
