Cardiovascular and cerebrovascular treatment

• Acute treatment for myocardial infarction, unstable angina pectoris, coronary artery bypass grafting, coronary angioplasty and dialysis shunts

Cardiovascular and cerebrovascular prophylaxis

• Secondary prophylaxis after myocardial infarction, transient ischaemic attack (TIA) or other cerebrovascular accident (stroke), and also in cases of Kawasaki syndrome
• Primary prevention of myocardial infarction in certain risk groups (strong family history of atherosclerosis; diabetes mellitus; gout; hypertension; dyslipidaemia)

Treatment of pain and/or fever

Fever, pain

• Children under 2 years: 3 x 1/2 tablet per day
• Children 2 - 3 years: 3 x 1 tablet a day
• Children 4 - 6 years: 3 x 2 tablets a day
• Children aged 7 - 9: 3 x 3 tablets a day

Cardiovascular diseases

• Treatment

• initial dose: 3 to 6 tablets

• subsequent doses: 1 to 2 tablets per day or 3 tablets every 2 days
• Primary and secondary prophylaxis
• 1 to 2 tablets a day or 3 tablets every 2 days
• Secondary prevention of Kawasaki syndrome (infants and young children)
• 3 x 1/2 tablet per day

Method of administration

• Adults and older children
• Dissolve the tablets in a sufficient quantity of water, mix well and drink immediately
• Take preferably after a meal
• Then drink a further half glass of water or other beverage
• Small children
• Dissolve the tablets in a teaspoon or mix them with their food
• Then drink another 1/4 glass of water
