Green Tea (or Virgin Tea) comes from the tea plant which is a small evergreen shrub from the rainforests of India and eastern China.

Green tea contains caffeine and phenolic compounds called catechins. In phytotherapy, the parts used are the first two leaves of the twig and the bud.
