Lutein, a crucial nutrient!

Lutein is one of three carotenoid pigments that are found in very high concentrations in the retina of the eye, more specifically in the macula. The yellow colour of the macula is due to the presence of lutein, zeaxanthin and meso-zeaxanthin. These carotenoids are not synthesised by humans and must therefore be provided by the diet.

In phytotherapy, to maintain good visual comfort, we generally associate the Blueberry (Vaccinium myrtillus L.) with the Indian Rose (Tagetes erecta L.) which are a source of Lutein.

• Dry extract of Bilberry (Vaccinium myrtillus L.).
• Cellulose.
• Extract of the aerial part of Indian Rose (Tagetes erecta L.).
• Anti-caking agents: magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide.
• Envelope of vegetable origin: hydroxypropylmethylcellulose.

ADVICE FOR USE

To be taken orally.

• Take 1 capsule morning and evening with meals and a large glass of water.
