Paranix Treatment Shampoo has been clinically tested and is a proven* effective treatment for lice. The dual action of the formula not only removes lice and nits, but the product is also easy to use: hair is washed and the conditioner in the formula makes it easy to comb hair to remove lice. Since Paranix Treatment Shampoo does not contain insecticide, lice cannot develop resistance to the components. Paranix Treatment Shampoo has been tested under dermatological control.
Clinical studies have shown that Paranix treatment shampoo is 100% effective against nits and lice at an average European contamination level.
Precautions before use: Do not use this product at:
– people allergic to any of the ingredients;
– children under 2 years of age.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
The use of Paranix Treatment Shampoo is not contraindicated for pregnant or lactating women. However, it is advisable to always seek the advice of your doctor or pharmacist before using a product if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Check for lice
Using the Paranix very fine-toothed head lice comb provided with the Shampoo, comb to thoroughly check each family member’s hair, preferably in daylight. Treat all those who have lice on the same day to avoid re-infestation.
– It is easier to examine dry hair.
– First, brush to remove knots and then check the hair wick by wick.
– Check the roots, back of the ears and neck. It is often in these areas that lice and nits are found.
– After each use, clean the comb thoroughly in warm soapy water to avoid further infestation.
Step 1: Apply Paranix Treatment Shampoo
Shake the bottle well before use. Apply a sufficient amount of Paranix Treatment Shampoo regularly to dry hair, making sure to avoid contact with the eyes. Make sure that all hair and scalp are covered with a thick layer of product. Massage well from roots to tips, paying particular attention to the neck and the area behind the ears.
200 ml = 4 applications maximum depending on hair length.
Step 2: Let the product work for 15 minutes
Let the product work for 15 minutes. This is necessary for successful treatment.
Step 3: Eliminate lice and nits
Before washing hair, use the Paranix anti-lice comb to remove lice and nits.
1 – Comb wet hair with the Paranix lice comb.
2 – Divide the hair into 4 parts: from forehead to neck and then from ear to ear. For long hair, you can braid each part.
3 – Treat each part by isolating fine strands of hair so that the head is visible.
4 – Comb each strand of hair starting as close as possible to the head.
5 – Using the comb, remove each lice and/or slow you find.
6 – Each strand of hair without nits can be placed on its side.
7 – To avoid reinfestation, clean the comb after each wick with a cotton ball or cotton ball and always comb from the top of the head down.
Step 4: Add water and wash the hair
Add enough water to lather the shampoo. Wash and rinse hair thoroughly.
Make sure to rinse the entire product thoroughly. Dry hair as usual.
Don’t forget to decontaminate the environment
Decontaminate clothing, bed linen, towels and other objects (brushes, combs, etc.) that have been in direct contact with the head by washing them at 60°C. Vacuum the house and car to the smallest corners and then discard the vacuum bag. You can also place all objects for 2 or 3 days in a closed bag. Lice cannot survive without food.
Important note
Lice cannot develop any resistance to Paranix Treatment Shampoo because its mode of action is not chemical.
However, it is possible that people who have been treated may get lice from untreated people again (e.g. at school). Check dry hair for lice after 7 days. Repeat the treatment if necessary. In this case, you can use Paranix again without any risk. It will always be as effective as ever.
Warnings and cautions
Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Do not swallow. Do not use on irritated skin. For external use only. Consult a doctor or the Poison Control Centre in case of accidental ingestion. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes (mouth, nose). In case of contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with water. If eye irritation does not disappear, consult a doctor.
Do not use the product if you are allergic to the perfume or any of the ingredients listed. In case of rash, irritation or hypersensitivity, stop the treatment immediately and wash your hair with your usual shampoo.
Possible adverse reactions
Itching and irritation around the eyes. Desquamation of the scalp. Contact irritation and redness of the scalp, ears or neck.
– Store in a dry place at room temperature (15 °C – 25 °C).
– Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the bottle.
– Keep out of reach of children.
