Description

Each Mepilex dressing is equipped with Safetac ® – the original contact layer with silicone adhesion that minimises pain when changing dressings. Dressings with Safetac® have been proven to cause less damage to the wound and skin during dressing changes. Maceration is prevented by sealing the edges of the wound. Less damage to the wound and skin means less pain during dressing changes.

Mepilex is extremely versatile thanks to its many available sizes and shapes. You can also easily cut a Mepilex foam dressing to fit a specific application, for example, when treating wounds in areas of the body that are difficult to dress.

Always clean the wound before applying the dressing. The dressing must cover the wound bed and at least 2 cm of the surrounding skin.
