• Resveratrol is a polyphenol naturally present in the plant Japanese Knotweed (also called Polygonum cuspidatum). Resveratrol is obtained from an extraction of this plant, which has antioxidant properties. Japanese knotweed helps to slow down the ageing process of cells by protecting them from free radicals that could damage them.

The antioxidant power of an active ingredient measures its capacity to fight against oxidative stress in the skin and against the production of free radicals due to exposure to the sun, pollution, etc.
