The Orthosiphon (Orthosiphon stamineus)
Orthosiphon belongs to the labiae family like thyme or mint. The leaves are harvested during the short flowering period. Its nickname “cat’s whiskers” is linked to the length of its stamens, which are very prominent in the middle of the flowers.
Orthosiphon is traditionally used to promote weight loss as part of a slimming diet, in addition to dietary measures.

Composition of the medicine
For one capsule :
- Orthosiphon (sheet): 325 mg of total powder.
Advice for use
Adults :
- 2 capsules in the morning and 2 capsules in the evening, to be taken at mealtimes.
- The dosage can be increased to 5 capsules per day, if necessary.
- As an adjuvant for urinary disorders, the duration of use should not exceed 2 weeks. If symptoms persist for more than 2 weeks while
- using this medicine, consult a doctor or pharmacist.
- As an adjunct to weight loss diets, the duration of treatment is 1 month. If after 1 month of treatment no weight loss has been observed,
- consult a doctor or pharmacist.
