Description
Canestene Derm Bifonazole 1% 15g is an antifungal cream for the treatment of dermatomycoses.
Indications
This cream is indicated for the treatment of :
- Mycoses of the foot and hand (tinea pedum, tinea manuum).
- Mycoses of skin surfaces and folds (tinea corporis, tinea inguinalis).
- Pityriasis versicolor, Candida balanitis, erythrasma and other similar conditions.
Use
Method of administration:
- Wash and wipe affected areas of skin very thoroughly before application.
- Apply a small amount of cream to the affected areas of the skin.
- Apply once a day, preferably in the evening before going to bed.
Average duration of treatment :
- Mycoses of the foot, interdigital mycoses (between the toes): 3 weeks.
- Mycoses of the body, hands and skin folds: 2 – 3 weeks.
- Pityriasis versicolor, erythrasma: 2 weeks.
- Superficial skin candidiasis: 2 – 4 weeks.
- Storage: At room temperature (15°C to 25°C).
