Description

Symptomatic treatment of nasal congestion and rhinorrhoea associated with the common cold.

Adults

1 spray in each nostril, maximum 3 times a day
Minimum interval between 2 doses: 6 h

Method of administration

Before using the sprayer for the first time or when the product has not been used for 9 days: spray a few times until you obtain an even spray.

1 ml contains 0.5 mg xylometazoline hydrochloride and 0.6 mg ipratropium bromide.
1 spray (approximately 140 microlitres) contains 70 micrograms of xylometazoline hydrochloride and 84 micrograms of ipratropium bromide.

Otrivine Duo should not be administered to children under 18 years of age due to insufficient data: – Hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any of the excipients mentioned in section 6.1.
– Known hypersensitivity to atropine or similar substances, e.g. hyoscyamine and scopolamine.
– After surgical procedures with possible penetration of the dura mater, e.g. transsphenoidal hypophysectomy or other transnasal procedures.
– In patients suffering from glaucoma.
– Patients suffering from rhinitis sicca.

Symptomatic treatment of nasal congestion accompanied by rhinorrhoea associated with a cold.

Nasal use.1 spray in each nostril, maximum 3 times a day. There should be an interval of at least 6 hours between two doses. Do not use more than 3 sprays in each nostril per day.

The duration of treatment should not exceed 7 days.

Otrivine Duo is a nasal decongestant based on xylometazoline (0.5mg/ml) and ipratropium bromide (0.6mg/ml).
Otrivine duo offers:
– the first and only simultaneous treatment for nasal congestion AND rhinorrhoea
– a rapid and long-lasting effect
– a good safety/efficacy ratio

For use from the age of 18.
