Description

Indications:

  • Gaviscon is used to relieve heartburn and acid indigestion, as well as pain caused by acid reflux or acid regurgitation.

Mode of Administration:

  • Gaviscon is taken orally.
  • Before opening the sachet, it should be well kneaded, and then the contents are drunk directly.
  • It is recommended to use Gaviscon after meals.

Dosage:

  • For adults and children over 12: 1 to 2 sachets, 4 times a day.
  • For children under 12: use only on medical advice.

Precautions:

  • Never use Gaviscon if you are allergic to any of the components of the oral suspension.
  • Contraindications, special warnings, and side effects are detailed in the package leaflet.
  • Medication interactions can occur, so it is important to inform your doctor about all current or recent treatments.

Composition:

  • Active ingredients per 10 ml sachet: Sodium alginate (500 mg) and Sodium bicarbonate (267 mg).
  • Other components: Calcium carbonate, Carbomer 974P, Sodium saccharin, natural mint flavor, Sodium hydroxide, Methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E ), Propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 216), purified water.
