SPIDIFEN 400 MG 30 TBL

Description

Therapeutic indications:

Symptomatic relief of pain, toothache, headache, fever, primary dysmenorrhoea.

Dosage and method of administration:

* Adults and children from 12 years of age:

1 tablet 3 times daily with a meal. Do not exceed the dose of 3 tablets per day.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the active ingredient “ibuprofen” or to any of the excipients of this medicine. Hypersensitivity reactions in reaction to acetylsalicylic acid or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. History or presence of gastrointestinal ulceration, gastrointestinal hemorrhage, or other active hemorrhage such as cerebrovascular hemorrhage or ulcerative colitis. Severe kidney and/or liver failure, serious uncontrolled heart failure. Haemorrhagic diathesis. Third trimester of pregnancy.

Special precautions for use and special warnings:

Caution in the elderly and in patients with coagulation disorders and hepatic, cardiac or renal insufficiency. Ibuprofen may mask the objective and subjective symptoms that accompany an infection. In Prudence in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus or other collagen disorders. The use of ibuprofen may reduce a woman’s fertility and is not recommended for women trying to become pregnant. Patients who develop vision problems during ibuprofen therapy should discontinue treatment and have an eye exam.

Unwanted effects:

Dyspepsia and diarrhoea. Abdominal pain, nausea, dyspepsia, diarrhoea, anorexia, constipation. Peptic ulcer, gastrointestinal haemorrhage. Hypersensitivity reactions. Headaches, dizziness. Thrombocytopenia, agranulocytosis, aplastic anaemia. Haematuria, interstitial nephritis, papillary necrosis which can lead to renal failure. Liver disorders, hearing disorders.

Composition:

Ibuprofen 400mg, L-arginine, sodium bicarbonate, crospovidon and magnesium stearate. The coating consists of hypromellose, sucrose, titanium dioxide (E171) and macrogol 4000.
